Join us for a one-off volunteering day and help us plant the trees of the future in Ashclyst Forest.

During November, our countryside team and the local community will be planting new trees. We will be planting mixed broadleaf species including alder and willow.

There will be two planting days:

Saturday 7 and Sunday 22 November with planting sessions at 10am, 12pm and 2pm.

Please book on the time slot(s) you plan to attend. You're welcome to stay for the whole day, but please book a place on each individual session you would like to join.

All equipment needed for tree planting will be provided.

Parking is available in Ashclyst Forest and directions will lead to the planting site. There will be port-a-loos available. Please dress for the weather, bring snacks, water and a flask.

Free parking is available within the forest at:

Sprydon Beacon (what3words: painted.directions.rents) small car park from Exeter/Hay House direction.

Forest gate car park (what3words: refuse.hopping.schematic) large car park in the centre of Ashclyst Forest

Deadlands (what3words: furnish.years.theory) small car park from Budlake direction.

Directions will lead from each of the three parking areas to the planting site.

This is a free event but booking is required.

Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.
