Killerton House and Gardens will be taking part in the Heritage Open Days Festival on Friday 11 September and Saturday 12 September. Entry is for free for all visitors.

Killerton's hillside garden is known for its exotic collection of trees, shrubs, herbaceous plants and tender ornamentals. Marvel at the enormous leaves and mysteriously shaped seed pods of the Magnolia. Find the seeds of a giant redwood. Take shade under the majestic Luccombe Oaks. Discover the picturesque gems of the Lady Cott (Bear's hut) and the rock garden and enjoy views to a distant Dartmoor.
Want to stretch those legs? Enjoy views from volcanic outcrops, and the smells of Autumn woodland. Admire the architecture of Killerton's Grade I listed Chapel and discover the earthworks of an Iron-Age hillfort.

The garden is set on a hillside and has slopes and steep inclines. Manual wheelchair users may find this challenging. The Tramper-an all-terrain motorised scooter is available to hire - call 01392 881345 to book. Assistance dogs only inside the house, chapel and Killerton Kitchen cafe.

Park in the main Killerton Visitor car park. Head to Killerton Visitor Reception for an entry ticket to access the house, gardens, chapel and parkland.
