In collaboration with the Alzheimer's Society, join our new walking group, specifically for people living with young onset dementia and their carer or companion. The group offers a friendly and supportive environment where participants can enjoy the outdoors, meet others, and stay active - at a pace that feels comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.
Representatives from the Alzheimer's Society will be there throughout the walk to offer support and assistance.
This free, guided walk will take in a circular route and follow surfaced paths through the garden, parkland and chapel grounds at Killerton.
There are some steep inclines and uneven ground in places, which may be challenging for wheelchair and mobility aid users. Sturdy shoes recommended.
The walk is approximately 1 mile, please allow approximately 1 hour.
Please book a place for each individual attending (including carer or companion). Age 16+.
No dogs.
This walk is free of charge however booking is essential. A National Trust membership is not required to take part in this walk.
Meeting at 11am in the courtyard outside Visitor Reception.
Parking will be free, please provide car registration details to the walk leader on arrival.
