Guided Wildlife Walk: Birdsong

Come and enjoy a gentle walk in this beautiful space and learn about it's wildlife with a focus on identifying birdsong.

  • Booking essential
  • Free event

A National Trust officer will guide you across the beautiful and varied landscapes of the Parke Estate. We will stop regularly to enjoy and identify our native bird species. At this time of year the bird song is yet to ramp up into it's full chorus, making it easier to learn some of our resident birds, before all the visitors arrive and join in. Similarly by stepping out at this time of the morning, the frantic moment of dawn will have passed, but still with plenty to hear and behaviour to look out for. Perfect for those just starting out in learning.

This event is free but booking is required by emailing or texting using the details below.
