Guided Walk at Parke: Birdsong

Come on a gentle walk in this beautiful space and learn about it's wildlife with a focus on enjoying and identifying birdsong.

  • Booking essential
  • Free event

Have you ever listened to those incredible birds around us and thought you'd like to try and identify them?

Community Ranger and bird enthusiast Toria will guide you across the beautiful and varied landscapes of the Parke Estate. We will stop regularly to enjoy the birds. At this time of year and the bird song is yet to ramp up into it's full chorus, making it easier to learn some of our resident birds, before all the visitors arrive and join in. Similarly by stepping out at this time of the morning, the frantic moment of dawn will have passed, but still with plenty to hear and behaviour to look out for. This walk is perfect for those just starting out in learning about birds.
