Guided Group Walks
A free and friendly series of volunteer-led walks around the beautiful Parke Estate
- Booking essential
- Free event
We are pleased to introduce a new series of social walks. Each one is led by 2 of our team of Community Walk Volunteers, who will guide you across the beautiful and varied landscapes of the Parke Estate. These walks are an opportunity to get out into nature, share the wonder, and meet other like-minded people. They are perfect if you prefer not to walk alone, or if you need some gentle motivation to get out into the fresh air.

Please come prepared for all weathers by wearing suitable walking clothes, sturdy footwear and carrying waterproofs and water. Parke can get muddy even when it's dry!
- Accessibility
These walks will suit those able to cover varying terrain including steep hills, uneven ground and slippery tree roots. If you feel you can't join due to accessibility needs we would love to hear from you so that we can create opportunities in future.
- Other
Please note that our Wednesday walks are dog-free. On most Sundays our walk leader is accompanied by one small volunteer dog. If you need to bring your dog, then a Sunday is the option for you. Dogs must be well behaved and happy on a lead. Please note that your fellow walkers may not be used to dogs. You may also like to hear about our Waggy Walks designed specifically for dogs and their owners! Car parking is free for National Trust members and £3 for 2hrs or £5 for all day (cash or PayByPhone). All donations contribute to the conservation of Parke.
