Please note that in rural locations postcodes often cover a wide area so don't always believe the satnav. Look out for the brown tourist attraction signs with the National Trust oakleaf symbol.
Park here for walks around East Soar to the dramatic Bolt Head, Overbeck's Garden and Salcombe Estuary, and Snape's Point. There's even hidden coves and sandy beaches to explore.
Trails for all abilities criss-cross this wild part of the south Devon coast, with accessible trail at Bolberry Down or further walks to Hope Cove, Soar Cove, Salcombe and Overbeck's Garden.
A popular car park, Mill Bay fills up quickly in the summer months. The narrow lane to access the car park gets easily congested and can present serious problems for residents and emergency vehicles. We recommend arriving early or later in the day to find a space. There is an alternative car park at Gara Rock (not National Trust).
A small car park, it can be a starting point for scenic walks around Snape Point.
These roads get particular busy during the spring and summer months and bank holidays and parking in roadside verges and laybyes in and around Salcombe causes access problems for people who live there, including farmers and potentially emergency vehicles.
