Summer of play
Enjoy spending time together over the school holiday in a Summer of Play at Wembury Beach. We have a variety of seashore themed activities for all the family to get involved in.

Coastal Detectives
Come and test your observation skills. Collect your challenge sheet from National Trust staff or Wembury Marine Centre and claim your free badge on completion.
Craft days
Join us at the Marine Centre on Monday 28 July and Monday 11 August for seashore themed crafts. Drop in anytime between 1pm-4pm. Suggested donation of £2 per child.
Rainy day activities
Play Snakes and Ladders with a twist- can you answer the climate change questions correctly to help boost yourself to the finish?

Beach games
We have a selection of beach games available for hire outside Wembury Marine Centre. Please return all games once you have finished playing so that others can have a go.

For the coastal detective challenge you will be out on the beach so please wear suitable footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.

Brush harvesting demonstration at Wembury Point
Brush harvesting seed is a great way to restore and recreate wildflower grasslands. Learn more about brush harvesting and with the Ranger team at Wembury and help us to sort the seed.
Community litter pick
Join the National Trust on the last Monday of each month to help keep Wembury safe, clean and tidy.
Stream dipping
Come along to discover the minibeasts which live in Wembury stream. National Trust staff will be on hand to show you what to do and help to identify the creatures you find.
