Big Blue Bag Project at Wembury

Join Monty Halls, renowned biologist, broadcaster and passionate ocean conservationist for the launch of the Big Blue Bag Project at Wembury Marine Centre.

  • Booking essential
  • Free event

Leading a short talk about the project, Monty will introduce the thinking behind the Big Blue Bag and how local communities can play their part. We'll then head down to the beach to test out the Big Blue Bag, with Monty on hand to guide and support.

The Big Blue Bag Project is an exciting citizen science initiative founded by Monty, designed to empower communities to help monitor and protect our coastlines and shallow seas.

Whether you're new to citizen science or passionate about marine conservation, we would love for you to join us for this event. Make sure to wear suitable clothing for the weather, and wellies or sturdy footwear when on the beach.

Spaces are limited, so booking is essential through the Wembury Marine Centre. This is a partnership event with Devon Wildlife Trust.
