Join our rangers for a fun, hands-on volunteering day this October half-term at Morte Point, Woolacombe on Thursday 29 October 2026.

Together we’ll be cutting back gorse and clearing overgrown vegetation, helping to create space for wildflowers, maritime grassland and other rare species to flourish. A great way to get the whole family outdoors and make a real difference for wildlife.

We’ll provide all the tools and training you need, drop in for as long as you like between 10am - 3pm.

Suitable for children aged 6 and upwards (children under 6 are most welcome but the task is quite physical).

Please park at Mortehoe car park (charges apply, not National Trust) and walk towards Morte point , keep an eye out for our rangers in red who will be working in the area. .

What to bring and wear

Tools are provided, but please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, sturdy shoes and bring along a water bottle, snacks and packed lunch.
