Celebrate National Meadows Day and learn about Meadow creation with the rangers while having a go at hand harvesting Yellow Rattle. You can also take some seed home with you to start you own mini meadow.
Yellow rattle is fantastic for kick-starting meadow creation, and this will help with the North Devon grasslands project, creating 1200ha of wildflower meadows.
Across North Devon since 2022, 90 hectares of species rich grasslands have been created by our ranger teams to provide a source of wildflower seed to support further creation of habitats for nature.
