Join us at Hardy's House, Max Gate for free access to the home of Thomas Hardy as part of the Heritage Open Week.

Hardy's House, Max Gate will be free to enter on 12 & 13 September, from 10.30 - 4.30 (last entry 3:30).
No pre-booking is required.
A beverage unit will be on site for the duration of the weekend selling hot drinks and cakes to enjoy in Hardy’s garden.

Join us for a 2.5-mile stroll through the countryside near Hardy's home, Max Gate, to the resting place of William Barnes, the Dorset poet. Individuals and families welcome, dogs are optional but must be kept on a short lead!
