Spring flowers in Hardy's Homes
Visit Hardy's Homes to celebrate the arrival of spring with both houses filled with floral displays.

Both Hardy's House, Max Gate and Hardy's Cottage will be adorned with springtime floral displays made by local flower arrangers, Dorchester Floral Group and Owermoigne Flower Club. There will be an abundance of daffodils used in the displays, as these were said to be Hardy's favourite flower.

Join us for a 2.5-mile stroll through the countryside near Hardy's home, Max Gate, to the resting place of William Barnes, the Dorset poet. Individuals and families welcome, dogs are optional but must be kept on a short lead!
