Calling all explorers and nature enthusiasts. Join us on adventure with exciting, hands-on activities designed to connect children with the natural world.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to join in on the fun and help discover the wonders of nature.
Join us each Monday of the summer holidays:
Mini-beasties - 5 years & under: 10-11am A fun, guided walk with nature and bird spotting, followed by a woodland bug hunt using magnifying glasses and bug pots.
Nature explorers - 2-12 years old: 12pm-1pm A wild walk with bird watching, bug hunting, and building your own bug hotel - activities for all ages. Forest Detectives - 6-12 year olds: 2pm-3pm A guided walk with tree ID, bark rubbing, bug hunting, and exploring small mammal footprints.
Tickets £3 per child (2-12 years old) with an accompanying adult per child. The standard entry to Kingston Lacy applies and is not included in this ticket. See 'Visitor Information - Prices' on the website for information. Spaces are limited.

Meet our bug-tastic volunteers in the Kitchen Garden, approx. 15 walk from visitor reception. Mini-beasties - 10am Nature explorers - 12.30pm Forest Detectives - 2.30pm
- What to bring and wear
Please wear suitable clothing for the weather, with good footwear as you will be exploring grassy areas and woodland paths. If it's wet, have wellies and raincoats at the ready.
