Summer of Play: Plant a cress head with the gardeners
Join our gardeners as they help you plant your own cress head in the Kitchen Garden and answer your questions about life as a gardener at Kingston Lacy.

Pop in and meet our gardeners as they plant cress heads in the Kitchen Garden. Ask them questions and have a go at making your own cress head to take home
All sessions are free, donations welcome.
If we are exceptionally busy, we may ask you to pop back later in the day.

Find us under the Summer of Play stretch tent in the Kitchen Garden. It takes around 15-20 minutes from the car park and reception.
- What to bring and wear
The activity is under cover outside, so dress for the weather.
- Accessibility
This session includes grass and gravel paths, some of which may not be suitable for all mobility aids. Please see the accessibility pages on the website for more information.

Nordic walking at Kingston Lacy
Nordic Walking is an enhancement of ordinary walking. When trained in the right technique to use the poles effectively, it increases use of the upper body and enables you to work harder but it feels easier!
