Summer of Play: Move together family yoga
Stretch and move together as you get ready for an adventurous Summer of Play day. This family session takes you through some simple moves inspired by nature, history and summer.

Take a moment to breathe and strike some amazing poses as you're led by our yoga instructor Clary on our Summer of Play stage. These fun easy-move sessions are about working together and being inspired by the surroundings of the Kitchen Garden.
The sessions last approximately 30 minutes, and is suitable for children and adults to do together.
Earlier private classes are also available for a small number of pre-schoolers with their grown-ups. Please see the other event listing to book.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who can take part or watch nearby.
Clary has been teaching yoga to children in and around Wimborne since the summer of 2021.
Trained in the Yoga Bananas Technique® Clary has recently completed the British Wheel of Yoga’s Teacher Training, nurturing her interest and understanding and enhancing her classes and school holiday retreats. Clary has been practising yoga since 1999 and has a heartfelt wish to plant yoga seeds to children and young people; seeds of potential for physical and mental wellness – with plenty of fun along the way.

Summer of Play is located in the Kitchen Garden, which is a 15-20 minute walk from the car park and reception. Ask the team at reception for directions.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear comfy clothes and shoes. These sessions will be on the grass. Yoga mats aren't provided.

Nordic Walking is an enhancement of ordinary walking. When trained in the right technique to use the poles effectively, it increases use of the upper body and enables you to work harder but it feels easier!
