Portland House, Weymouth Open Day
We are pleased to open the doors of Portland House in Weymouth for public viewing in May 2026.

This stunning Art Deco, Hollywood Spanish–inspired villa on the Dorset coast will be open from 15–17 May 2026, from 10am to 4pm daily (last entry at 3pm).
Perched above Portland Harbour, this extraordinary white villa is set within expansive gardens and terraces. With its palm-lined drive and striking blue Crittall windows, the house evokes the glamour and elegance of old Hollywood against a backdrop of sea views.
Admission: Adults: £5, Children: £2.50 (cash only) National Trust Members: Free.
Refreshments, including hot drinks, will be available to purchase (cash and card accepted for refreshments).
Collectable pin badges will also be on sale at the entrance (cash only).
A Visitor Passport Stamp will be available, please bring your National Trust passport if you would like a free stamp.

Children welcome and you can also bring a picnic to enjoy on the grounds!

24 Belle Vue Rd, Weymouth DT4 8RZ. Doors open at 10am and will close at 3pm.
- Accessibility
A large formal staircase and narrower 'back' staircase are both long and steep. There are other level changes on each floor. Some routes around the garden are uneven and steep. There are steps down the front door entrance.

There is no on-site parking at Portland House. Limited street parking is available, please park considerately. If you require accessible parking, speak to our team on the day. Dogs are welcome in the gardens only and must be kept on a lead. They are not permitted inside the house. Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the house and gardens..
