Danbury Commons and Blakes Wood has some steep and uneven routes which may be slippery in places. The car park surface is unmade and there are no visitor facilities on site.

Arrival and parking

  • The car park is unmade so the terrain is uneven

Moving around the site

  • The landscape is a mixture of steep slopes, uneven heathland paths.
  • In winter, the woodland paths can become muddy.

  • There are no visitor facilities on site
