Nature Day: Orchids and Wildflowers Walk
Our nature highlight of the year - the orchids steal the show this June! Share in their wonder with our guided gentle stroll, in tandem with our Nature Day event!

Don't miss out on seeing this seasonal spectacle, with rare varieties of wild orchids, alongside a colourful display of wildflowers and bulbs.
The route will take you through our chalk grassland and down the slopes of our sunken trails as you learn about the wonderful flora and fauna found on our doorstep. Varieties of orchid include pyramidal, fragrant and common spotted orchid, as well as the bee orchid - the flower of the county of Bedfordshire! You may even be lucky enough to spot some rare habitats and wildlife along the way.
Adult tickets are £3, children £1.50. Under 5s go free (no ticket required). Normal car parking charges apply. Please book ahead as there will be limited availability on the day. The route involves some steep slopes. It is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs or those with limited mobility.
