Join artist Janet Haigh for a flower and textile themed drawing class, held in the Potting Shed at Hidcote.
This class will start with an introduction to Janet’s own drawing practice, showing how she developed her current exhibition in the Manor House at Hidcote. Janet will teach several of her tried and tested observational drawing techniques.
After this initial study-session, participants will be encouraged to work from still life set ups, each with a different colour theme and atmosphere, including different fabrics and flowers. Participants will study colour, different media and techniques for observational drawing.
Janet will be on hand throughout the time to give tuition and advice.
Basic materials will be provided such as paper, pencils, inks and brushes, but participants are welcome to bring their own if preferred.
Refreshments will be on hand to energise you throughout the workshop.
Tickets are £95 per person, inclusive of materials and refreshments.
