Interested in finding out about the history and significance of Major Lawrence Johnston's garden at Hidcote, join one of our knowledgeable Garden Guides for a one-hour guided tour of the garden.

Explore how Hidcote developed from a Cotswold sheep farm to a Grade I listed garden with international significance. What attracted Johnston, a self-taught horticulturalist and wealthy American, to Hidcote Bartrim and how he changed the landscape and reputation of this small hamlet in the north Cotswolds forever.

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 2pm to 3pm, when a volunteer is available.

To book your spot, head to the Hidcote Visitor Reception on the day.
