Earlier in the year local Artists came to sketch the crab apple trees in blossom as well as other points of interest in the garden. Their works have now been finished and framed and will be displayed for sale in the Exhibition room from 19th September to 9th November.

Heritage Open Day
On 20 September, explore this intimate chapel and its world-famous paintings for free as part of Heritage Open Day. You’ll find a small garden and orchard too, with seating to relax on with a cup of tea or coffee.
Paintings and Poetry
Come and join us for an immersive deep dive into a Stanley Spencer painting, followed by a World War One poetry reading. Each painting talk and poetry reading lasts approximately 15 minutes.
