The Steward will focus on a different object each month, uncovering how Spencer transformed everyday items into powerful carriers of meaning. Visit once or return throughout the series to experience a new object and a new perspective each time.

Accessible parking is available at the rear of the Chapel with step free access around the site. There is a ramp into the Chapel suitable for manual wheelchairs.

Deep Dive into Paintings and First World War Poetry
Come and join us for an immersive deep dive into a Stanley Spencer painting, followed by a First World War poetry reading. Each painting talk and poetry reading lasts approximately 15 minutes.
