Have you ever wanted to delve deeper into the world of fungi? A place where trees communicate, myths and legends are created, and your understanding of the natural world can grow. We will be venturing onto Mottistone Down, identifying Autumn fungi and sharing lots of fascinating facts and tales which have been inspired by humble toadstools. Please be prepared for some off-pathing to get a closer view of fungi. Boots or shoes with good grip are recommended. To prepare, or unwind afterwards, you could combine your walk with a visit to Mottistone Gardens and fuel yourself with refreshments from the tea garden.
