Little People, BIG DREAMS® trail at Chartwell encourages kids to be bold, be brave and dream big this summer. Join us in celebrating some of the world’s most outstanding people, using artworks from the bestselling Little People, BIG DREAMS® picture-book series. The fascinating trail invites you into the stories of little artists, activists, writers, and scientists from all over the world.

We have worked with Crockham Hill Primary School to celebrate amazing people in 6 categories from the book series: musicians, adventurers, scientists, artists, writers and activists. The children have busily been reading the books and discovering 24 characters from the series and have voted for their leaders in each category.

The leaders are: Martin Luther King Jr (activist), Taylor Swift (musician), Anne Frank (writer), Andy Warhol (artist), David Attenborough (adventurer), and Albert Einstein (scientist). The team at Chartwell have decided to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II in honour of her special relationship with Winston Churchill.

There are many more wonderful characters to discover on a visit to Chartwell this summer, so come along, be inspired, and dream big.

The trail costs £3, including a lanyard with activity pack. The character spotting trail takes places across the site including the house and gardens. There will be activities to enjoy inspired by the stories of our lead characters.
