Chartwell to Westerham Circular guided walk with Sevenoaks Ramblers

Enjoy scenic views and woodlands on this free, guided walk led by Sevenoaks Ramblers.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event

A 7-mile circular walk starting from the car park at Chartwell - there is a short climb up Horns Hill with splendid views over the house to the Weald of Kent beyond.

We proceed to Hosey Hill Common and across to the ruined tower at the top of Tower Hill (providing the paths are not closed for clay pigeon shooting) and then descend to Westerham, with views across the North Downs.

There will be time for a tea/coffee break in Westerham.

The return is through parkland and woods passing an Iron Age fort, crossing Crockham Hill Common to the viewpoint at Mariner's Hill before descending back to Chartwell.

Parking at Chartwell is free for those attending this walk. Please scan your National Trust membership card if you have one. Every scan helps towards the ongoing care of Chartwell.

Normal admission or National Trust membership applies for those who would like to visit Chartwell after the walk.
