Horticulturalist, television presenter and author Frances Tophill brings her passion for plants, wildlife and seasonal gardening to Emmetts Garden. Through thoughtful planting and a nature-led approach, Frances explores how to create a garden that not only looks beautiful but supports biodiversity and thrives throughout the year.
Blending practical advice with personal insight, this inspiring talk offers simple, achievable ways to work with nature and make the most of your garden in every season. Followed by a Q&A.
About the speaker: Frances Tophill was awarded best show garden for a sustainable garden design and build at Gardeners’ World Live in 2022. On screen Frances is known for her work with ‘Gardeners’ World’ and ‘Love Your Garden’. She is the Patron of Thanet Urban Forest and works with the RHS on the Campaign for School Gardening. She is currently Head Gardener and Grower at Sharpham Trust.

Early bird full day passes for talks taking place on Saturday 17 October are available for £50 until 31 August.
Individual talk tickets will be available at the standard rate from 1 September, with prices for each of Saturday’s talks ranging from £10 to £25.
The standard rate price for ‘Wildflower Year – Gardening for Beauty&Biodiversity with Frances Tophill’ will be £22 from 1 September.
