Join us every Sunday this summer for a weird and wonderful Mad Hatter’s Tea Party on the lawn.
Step into the topsy-turvy world of Alice in Wonderland and meet some of your favourite characters, including Alice, the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts. Try your hand at flamingo croquet — just watch out for the Queen’s temper!
There will be curious conversations, colourful costumes, and delightfully mad moments.
Don’t be late for this very important date— it’s going to be madly fun!

The tea party takes place on the North Lawn
- What to bring and wear
This activity takes place outdoors. Please dress for changeable weather conditions.
- Accessibility
The garden is steep in places with steps and gravel, cobbles and grass pathways - please speak to staff on arrival for the best route for your needs. Disabled parking is available near visitor reception but there is some gravel in areas of the car park. Pushchairs are permitted in all areas of the garden, but please take care. Take care, there are many open water areas around the garden.
