If you love to watch the birds in your garden or local park but want to know about them, this bird talk and walk is perfect. This session is aimed at people with with little or no prior knowledge of birds

Following a short talk to identify the birds you're most likely to see in your garden or when you're out and about - from robins and tits to buzzards and woodpeckers - you'll head out with our rangers for a bit of bird-spotting and put into practice your new-found knowledge of plumage and bird song.

Meet at the Garden noticeboard on the garden side of Visitor Entrance.
- What to bring and wear
Comfortable shoes for walking are recommended.

Level access in walled garden. Hard-surface paths suitable for wheelchairs and powered mobility vehicles. No WCs in garden.

Only assistance dogs are permitted in the walled garden.
