Discover the story of Sissinghurst, the garden, the ruins, and the people who made it a home.
From Elizabethan manor house to the present, 'Sissinghurst Stories' invites every visitor to learn more about how this world-renowned garden came to be.
Designed for audiences of all ages. Take part in family activities, listen to the recordings of poems inspired by Sissinghurst, and look through the photos taken during the time of Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicolson.
Rarely-seen collection items from Sissinghurst's past shed a light on its time as a prison and a farm.
Open daily from the 13ths July to the 6th September. Included with standard admission.

Please scan your membership cards or pay for entry at Visitor Reception. The display is located next to Visitor Reception, upstairs in the Oast Exhibition Space.

The display is indoors. Please have your entry ticket on hand to enter the space.

The display is located upstairs in the Oast Exhibition Space. There is no step free access.
- Other
The display is free to attend but all visitors must obtain an entry ticket (token) to view the space. You may be asked to present the token, not National Trust cards, at the door.
