Apple Picking Weekend (27 & 28 September)
Come apple picking with us in our orchard this September! Buy a bag to fill with delicious apples and take home a piece of Sissinghurst with you.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Are you looking for that perfect apple to make your crumble with this Autumn? Maybe you want to try out a new recipe, or are just looking for that perfectly crunchy first bite.
Whatever the reason, this self-led experience will take you through the Top Orchard next to the car park- an often overlooked area of Sissinghurst.
On the day:
Pay £5 at Visitor Reception and you'll be given a Sissinghurst 'Shilling'.
Up at the orchard, exchange this 'Shilling' for an apple picking bag. Our team will be stationed there ready to help and to show you around.
Then it's all up to you! Browse through our many varieties of eating and cooking apples, and see how many you can carry home with you in the bag.
