The South Cottage 1936
The South Cottage reopens for an immersive 'living museum' experience on select days in January and February 2026.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Please note that daily opening will be dependent on volunteer availability. While we aim to open on a daily basis during January and February, this may not always be possible.
Immerse yourself in a day in the life of Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicolson in 1936 - set against the backdrop of the Abdication Crisis, significant 20th century politics, Sissinghurst's garden design, and personal loss.
