Do your soufflés sink? Are your scones more like stones? Then you need our cookery book sale. We've loads of excellent cookery books at knock-back prices just waiting for good homes.

We've boxes of cookery books at unbelievably low prices, just waiting to show you how to delight your family and friends. We'll be featuring most of the famous authors, so whether you like simple dishes or something more adventurous, we're sure to have something that will suit your palate. The books are mostly hardback, and they are offered for sale at a fraction of their published price.

The book sale will be held at the gate-hut end of the White Cliffs of Dover Visitor Centre.
- What to bring and wear
We suggest you bring a bag for your purchases.
- Accessibility
The Visitor Centre is level access throughout. There are 15 disabled parking places on the Visitor Centre level and further places opposite the building, which are step-free but are further away and involve a short ramp.
- Other
Admission is free. Normal parking charges apply - National Trust members can park for free. Cash and card/e-wallet payments are welcome. Dogs are welcome in the outside seating area adjacent to the book fair. Dog water bowls are provided. Assistance dogs only are welcome in the Visitor Centre building. All books are donated and sold as seen. They may contain marks or annotations from their original owners. Please check the book if giving it as a gift. Proceeds from the book sale stay with White Cliffs and are used to fund our maintenance and conservation projects.
