Medicinal Herb Walk

Join Bel Charlesworth, the Yorkshire Herbalist, to learn more about the medicinal uses of the herbs grown at Acorn Bank.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Explore Acorn Bank’s wonderful Herb Collection with Yorkshire Herbalist, Bel Charlesworth. Comprising over 275 different herbs, Acorn Bank’s collection is the largest in the National Trust and grows sheltered by the 400 year old walls that started life as a kitchen garden for the mansion. Bel’s herb walks are a great way to find out about the folklore and medicinal properties of the plants and trees in our care, from foxgloves to willow.
