Bel Charlesworth is a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists and is passionate about empowering others through the power of nature. She'll share her knowledge and insights about the value of medicinal plants in the walled herb garden at Acorn Bank, which is the largest medicinal herb garden in the National Trust's care. And as a hands-on herbalist, Bel will prepare fresh herbal teas for you to sample.
Normal admission applies so make sure you wander around the rest of Acorn Bank. See the rest of the garden and woodland, the second-hand bookshop and the mill. If you're booking onto the afternoon session, be sure to arrive early to make the most of your visit. Gates open at 10.30am. And if you're on the morning session, you can stay till 5pm.
