Summer workshops with The Lake Artists Society - Ceri Allen - Painting summer gardens and interiors
The Lake Artists are back again at Allan Bank, running artist workshops in small groups. This is a great opportunity to learn from practising artists in a highly picturesque and tranquil setting.

On this relaxed and informal course, you will have the opportunity to work both inside Allan Bank and outside in its beautiful gardens with one to one guidance from Ceri. You may bring along your preferred painting or drawing media and Ceri will cover aspects of composition, colour mixing , light and shadows. For inspiration there will be a short presentation illustrating the work of many great painters of gardens such as Claude Monet, Pierre Bonnard and Eduard Vuillard. Students of all levels of experience are welcome!
