The World of the Whispering Wild
Artist Lucy Pendrick showcases her watercolours and needle-felted creatures in Tabitha Twitchit's Bookshop.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
The Whispering Wild is the creative studio of artist Lucy Pendrick, who uses watercolours and needlefelting to bring nature to life. With such a similar approach to Beatrix Potter, when she approached us about exhibiting in the bookshop, we were delighted!
A message from Lucy: My name is Lucy, the artist behind The Whispering Wild. I create whimsical watercolours and sculptures inspired by the old stories that still wait patiently to be found over hill and dale. I feel honoured to be exhibiting at Tabitha Twitchit's as Beatrix Potter has always been an inspiration to me, and I'd love to return some of the magic she unknowingly instilled in my heart.
Lucy's work will be available on display for visitors to peruse, and when she is in the building you can buy work direct from her. On the days that Lucy isn't present, visitors can still purchase her work by contacting her directly. Her contact details will be available on the day.
