Conservation in Action: Bindloss Bedroom Deep Clean

Watch the House team do the Bindloss Bedroom deep clean this September.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

The Bindloss bedroom is home to a recycled church pew adorned with scallop shells and holly, that now takes pride of place as an imposing bed. Intricate cleaning on the carvings using hogs’ hair brushes will be in full swing, alongside careful mould removal from 18th century Gillows of Lancaster furniture.
