Intricately carved wood and ornamentals once portrayed Sizergh’s prestige, and they continue to form a unique part of its character. On 24 and 26 September, the House team will be carrying out vital conservation work, and you’re invited to see it unfolding.

- Accessibility
Access to the first floor is up 26 steps, each around 15cm high. There are handrails either side of the staircase. Unfortunately, there is no ramp or lift available.
