Lend a hand days - Bulb Planting and Wild Art

Drop in any time between 12-3pm to lend Ranger Chris a hand with planting spring bulbs to brighten up this stretch of coast and provide nectar sources for pollinators.

Come to the Whitehaven Coast for lend a hand days and get your hands dirty planting some bulbs and creating your own chalk art on the tarmac. We'll provide all tools, kneeling mats and chalk, we just need your hands and a little bit of creativity. We look forward to seeing you there for a great family day out.

What to bring and wear

Please dress for the weather and ready to get a little dirty.

Accessibility

The area is step free. We’ll planting on uneven sloping grassy ground, you’ll need to be able to kneel or bend to plant the bulbs.
