This course is for anyone who would love to get to grips with the basics of whittling greenwood with a knife in a fun and creative way. We will approach a few different projects throughout the day and have time for you to experiment with different knife grasps. You'll learn to hone your technique to be able to carve greenwood in an efficient and safe way.

What to bring and wear

Wear warm clothes and bring a packed lunch.

Accessibility

Drop-off point. Footprint building is wheelchair accessible. The ground is uneven gravel paths. Accessible toilet. Access to the wood is via steep steps or an uneven slope.
