On the fourth Thursday of the month from May to October, come and explore our surrounding countryside on a 6-mile walk, enjoy the fantastic views and get out in the fresh air with our guides.

On the fourth Thursday of every month from May to August and October, come and explore our surrounding countryside on a 6-mile walk, enjoy the fantastic views and get out in the fresh air with our volunteer guides.
Please wear stout walking footwear and come prepared for the weather.
Older children accompanied by an adult are welcome but unfortunately the walk is not suitable for children under 11 or dogs.
Meet in the Canons Ashby car park ready to walk at 9.55. The walk should end before 12.30pm-1pm depending on the speed of the walkers.
Please note, walks may need to be cancelled at short notice in the event of poor weather or other unavoidable issues.
If you are intending to come into the property afterwards you will need to show your membership card or pay for admission. Parking for this walk is complimentary, although at all other times it is only for people visiting Canons Ashby and showing memberships cards or purchasing admission.

- What to bring and wear
Please dress for a countryside walk and bring water and whatever else you need - this walk crosses fields, areas which may be muddy, stiles and other outdoor walking surfaces.
- Accessibility
This is a 6 mile walk which includes slopes up and down, uneven surfaces, climbing over stiles and mixed countryside terrain.
- Other
This is not suitable for dogs - assistance dogs may join if you are able to carry them over the stiles and they are safe around livestock. Cattle and sheep may be present on the route.
