Cattle grazing walk and talks
Have you heard? This winter we’re delighted to be continuing our partnership with Lancashire Wildlife Trust and will be welcoming back some of their English longhorn cattle to graze the area south of the Lifeboat Road car park.

This grazing is part of our conservation work to restore the dune habitat across the site by reducing areas of dense scrub. This will help to protect the natural balance of the dunes and the rare wildlife that depends on them.
The cattle will start arriving mid-October and Ranger Al will be doing a couple of walk and talks before they get here, where you can find out more about the conservation benefits they will bring and ask any questions you may have.

Everyone is welcome and you don’t need to pre-book. Parking charges apply, members and blue badge holders park for free. Meet at Lifeboat Road car park bay 1 by the large map sign.
