Come and explore nature at Gawthorpe Hall in the pond and secret walled garden.

Join us in the grounds for some outdoor exploring with the National Trust Rangers. Dip a net into the pond and see what mini beasts you can find living there. Then head off to explore the secret Walled Garden home to flowers, butterflies and insects, plus you can have a go at snail racing and join in some nature crafts in the yurt.
Free drop-in event, no booking needed, children must be accompanied. This event is outside in the grounds - the paths can be uneven, and there are some steps on the way up to the pond.
