National Trust Ranger Walk & Talk
Join National Trust Ranger David Bevis for a free walk from Padiham to Gawthorpe Hall.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Start out on Lune Street and follow the path as you cross the River Calder, before making your way through the woods in the direction of Gawthorpe Hall.
As you follow the river on your left, this route takes you through the most species rich part of the site as you listen out for the many different bird songs and rare plants along the way.
Please wear appropriate shoes as the path leads through the woods, along rough paths and although it should be dry underfoot, can still be rough over roots.
The walk will end in the hidden Walled Garden at Gawthorpe Hall.
