Join us this October half term for our annual scarecrow festival. With more entries that ever before, enjoy a family day out as you explore the garden and woods in search of scarecrows.
This year’s theme is “Monsters & Legends” giving you a chance to discover some iconic monstrous creatures or legendary heroes in scarecrow form.
The festival is included in the admission price and runs from 17 October to 2 November, 10.30am–4.30pm (closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays). Free entry for National Trust members.

After all that exploring, why not warm up in the cosy Victorian tea-room with a hot drink and our autumn special - carrot cake scone.
