Don't Go Into the Cellar return to Speke Hall once more with another theatrical performance of great acclaim. Be led by the sinister Dr Trevellyan as he guides you into the deepest recesses of the human psyche. Along the way you will encounter such stark terror as may shatter the senses! But will you emerge from the shadows alive... ?

Enjoy refreshments in our Home Farm Restaurant (included in the ticket price) prior to the performance, before heading to the Great Hall to delve into the world of Poe. Jonathan Goodwin performs in a show scripted by himself, and directed by Goodwin and Gary Archer.

Meeting point

Our Outdoor Events team will meet you at the Home Farm restaurant, where refreshments are available, before escorting you to the performance, which will take place in the Great Hall.

What to bring and wear

It's best to dress warm as the Great Hall can become chilly at this time of year.

Accessibility

All areas are fully accessible. There is a 5 minute walk up to the hall but a shuttle buggy will be provided for those who need it.
