Run entirely by volunteers, Morden Hall Park’s Community Kitchen Garden grows a huge amount of produce each year from beans to pumpkins, tomatoes to rhubarb. The produce from the garden supports Merton's Community Fridge - a long-term initiative to tackle food poverty and reduce food waste in Merton.
Meet some of the wonderful volunteers who manage the Community Kitchen Garden and discover more about volunteering opportunities. Our dedicated volunteers will be on hand to answer your questions and guide you around the garden.
This event is a part of the GROW URBAN FESTIVAL most of which is taking place during The Great Big Green Week, 8-16 June 2024. There are more than 30 events in the Festival programme, all aiming to promote greening and growing in and around London. There are a huge range of activities including foraging walks, mushroom growing and bee hotel building workshops, digging up school playgrounds, dinners, talks and much more.
Drop in anytime from 2pm - 4.30pm.
