Grow Urban Festival: Recycle and Grow Pot Making Party
Turn discarded materials into beautiful, functional plant pots in this workshop on Sunday 9 June organised by our Urban Rangers.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Organised by Urban Rangers, Morden Hall Park’s youth volunteer group, this event will embrace sustainability and creativity. After decorating an upcycled pot, participants will be able to fill it with compost made on site at Morden Hall Park and then sow a range of seeds. You’ll be able to take your pot home with you to continue to nurture the mini garden.
Find us in the Stableyard area. Drop in anytime between 10am and 12pm.
This event is a part of the GROW URBAN FESTIVAL most of which is taking place during The Great Big Green Week, 8-16 June 2024. There are more than 30 events in the Festival programme, all aiming to promote greening and growing in and around London. There are a huge range of activities including foraging walks, mushroom growing and bee hotel building workshops, digging up school playgrounds, dinners, talks and much more.
