Spiders aren't so scary: Fri 16 and Sat 17 October
Discover the eight-legged wonders of Morden Hall Park
- Booking essential
Think spiders are spooky? Think again! Join us for a fascinating and family-friendly adventure where we’ll uncover the secret lives of these misunderstood minibeasts.
To begin, our friendly nature guide will introduce you to the incredible world of spiders - from their clever web designs to their important role in the ecosystem. Many of the park’s spiders hide in the day and come out at night, so as night falls, you will head out on a gentle guided walk in the dark to see how many different spiders you can spot on the trees, reeds, bridges, and walls.
Whether you're a curious child, or an interested adult, this event is a great way to find out why spiders really aren’t so scary after all!
Booking essential. £7/adult and £5/child.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Recommended for those aged 7+ due to the formal talk and being by unfenced open water in the dark. Assistance dogs only.
We will have torches to borrow, but please feel free to bring along your own if you have one!
