Come and see a brand new exhibition at Rainham Hall about the filming of a major new UK film Sense and Sensibility. In two of the rooms used for filming an exhibition charts the process and experience as the House was transformed into the interior of Mrs Jennings House (played by Fiona Shaw) in London which is key location for the novel set in the 1790’s following the lives of sisters Elianor (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and Marianne (Esme Creed Miles). There will be an accessible, free element of this exhibition in the Coach House at Rainham Hall. Local visitors who live in the RM13 postcode get into the Hall for free throughout the year. Exhibition at Rainham Hall from Sat 26 Sept – Sat 19 December 2026. Included in the Hall Ticket.
