Exhibition: Filming Sense and Sensibility at Rainham Hall

Come and see a brand new exhibition at Rainham Hall about the process of filming of major new UK film Sense and Sensibility. In two of the rooms used for filming an exhibition displays costumes and props from the film and charts the process and experience as the House was transformed into the interior of Mrs Jennings House (played by Fiona Shaw) in London which is key location for the novel set in the 1790’s following the lives of sisters Elinor (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and Marianne (Esme Creed Miles). There will be an accessible, free element of this exhibition in the Coach House at Rainham Hall. Local visitors who live in the RM13 postcode get into the Hall for free throughout the year.
